I hope that you had a wonderful holiday season and want to thank everyone that contributed to the employee Christmas fund.
Your generosity is very much appreciated by the staff at Pleasant Valley. After being closed for cleaning and repairs, the club
will re-open on Tuesday, January 13th.
I am happy to announce that The Board of Governors and Matt Gotto have reached an agreement that will keep Matt at
Pleasant Valley through 2011. Matt is entering his 10th year at Pleasant Valley and we are very fortunate to have someone
with his experience and capability as our golf professional.
I am also happy to report that the Board has reached an agreement with Bell & Collins Associates to extend their Food
Service Agreement through December 31, 2010. The Bell family has worked very hard to bring stability and consistency to
our food service program. Please show your support by attending club sponsored events and choosing Pleasant Valley
whenever you dine out or plan a party function.
In the current economic environment, The Board of Governors is doing everything that we can to control costs without
reducing services to our members. If you have not yet provided your email address, please send it to the business office as
soon as possible. This will assist us in reducing the costs of mailing the monthly newsletter. In addition, we would appreciate
the prompt payment of your monthly invoice. In accordance with Article XII, Section 4 of the By-Laws, Members whose
payments are not received by the 30th day from the billing date are subject to suspension and their names posted on Club
premises. Please stay current to assist us with our cash obligations.
The annual meeting of stockholders is scheduled for Monday, March 16, 2009 at 7:00 pm. We hope to see all stockholding
members at the meeting.
