Dear Distinguished Members,
As avid golfers and enthusiasts, we are pleased that spring has arrived and winter has passed. We held our first activity of
2009, Tough Man, and I would like to thank those members who participated in the event. Fun was the order of the day.
Putting was questionable, at best, but everyone appeared to enjoy themselves immensely. The Bells and their staff did an
excellent job in the 19th Hole meeting our needs after a great day of golf.
I am pleased to announce that we will be having a wine dinner on May 2, 2009. The menu has been finalized, and there is
only one word to describe it - DELECTABLE! I look forward to seeing each and every one of you at the dinner. Seating is
limited to only 50 people, so please call and make your reservations at your earliest convenience.
On a more resolute note, we are planning events for the 2009 year other than golf. If you have any suggestions or ideas
you would like to share, please contact a member of the Board of Governors. Let 2009 offer you the very best at Pleasant
Valley Country Club. In order for us to be successful at what we do, I leave you this one thought: "Success is often just an
idea away."
Respectfully yours,
George (Huck) Rattay
President

open Saturday, Sunday & Monday from 11AM to 7PM. The PVCC Swimming Pool will officially open on May 30, 2009.
The hours for the pool will be 11AM to 7PM. Events and parties are being planned so everyone can enjoy our facility

This would be a great way to enjoy the cool and refreshing water and relax under the tent and let someone else to the
